Castle Hotel - Gjirokaster

This place is quite clean and offers incredible views of the town and the nearby mountains. the location is outstanding, as it's close to a castle and a fortress. Plus, it's just a 15-minute walk to downtown! 🏞️.

Quaint and wonderful place to stay after the tiring trip. Perfectly clean and en suite room overlooking mountain. Great and lovely setting, just next door to Gjirokaster Castle, the garden with a nice view on the house, and a restaurant would charge. Also, to the busstation. Fine overall experience.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the castle, restaurants, and city center, making it easy to explore the area, and it's just a short distance from Sparky's Grill for takeout food.

The staff here were fantastic-super friendly and quick to respond to any requests. I chose this place for its amazing location; it's conveniently close to the UNESCO site, plus right by the castle and the old town area. 😊.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

If you want to experience a traditional Easter celebration, this is the place to be. We were greeted by the friendly staff who made sure we had the best time during our stay. The location was perfect, with a stunning view of the city and easy access to local attractions. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast and the fact that we could have a traditional Albanian lunch, which was absolutely delicious.

We had a small room and there were some restrictions on the facilities. We only had one body towel and no hair dryer, which was a bit inconvenient.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, with breathtaking views of the city and being right next to the historical center and the Fortress. The rooms were cozy and had lovely views over Gjirokaster. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. And I must mention the delicious traditional Albanian breakfast, a real treat to start the day!

The hotel had a beautiful garden and the breakfast was really delicious. the location was great, close to the historical center and a few minutes away from the castle, it was easy to get around. the bed in our room was very comfortable, we slept very well.

the room ended up being pretty stuffy and hot, which made it hard to sleep.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and hospitality. The hosts made us feel like a part of their family. The location was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance. And let me tell you, the breakfast was delicious! We were treated to a homemade, traditional feast every morning. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. Despite some slight noise from the communal living room, we had a comfortable stay. The highlight of our trip was getting to have a heartfelt conversation with the host and her husband, even with my limited Albanian. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel truly offers excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and prime location right beside the Fortress. The staff are incredibly friendly and provide top-notch service, making you feel right at home. The rooms offer stunning views over Gjirokaster, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the city. And let's not forget the breakfast - homemade, fresh, and incredibly tasty, it's the perfect way to start your day.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the location was absolutely stunning, right beside the fortress with breathtaking views over Gjirokaster. The rooms were immaculate and had lovely views too. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Lastly, the breakfast was outstanding. We were treated to a homemade, traditional feast that left us feeling satisfied and ready for the day.

Everything was great, no complaints at all.
